VOLUNTEER
One of the most important assets of the Society is a faithful volunteer base. Some volunteers have dedicated time towards maintenance and upkeep of the Garden for over 30 years, and many other volunteers help with special events and pitch in as needed. Local citizens also help with annual Spring and Fall garden clean-ups.
The SLGS stewards the Kohan Reflection Garden with a vision and values that encompass gardening as an art, community history and heritage, community building and environmental quality. The Society and Garden are 100% volunteer run. Volunteers are critical to the ongoing maintenance of the Garden and essential to ensuring the sustainability of the Garden into the future.
